I'm starting to get seriously frustrated. We have been working on contracts for about a month now, which I feel is ridiculous because I hardly requested any changes in the contract and the IPs were fine with everything I requested. The thing that's taken so long is the attorneys getting their crap together and actually sending us things when they say they will.
We keep getting the runaround from everyone, the latest being my attorney telling me last Friday that she'd send me the signable copy so we could be on our way. I still haven't heard from her today so I talked to one of my IFs and he is furious and ready to fire Circle. He said he's been on them every single day to hurry the attorney along but apparently it's not doing any good. The clinic wanted to transfer in August but will not put together a timeline until contracts are signed, so this is inching closer to affecting our transfer date.
THEN, my IF tells me he finally got the final copy of the contract this afternoon and okayed it, and his attorney told him that it was being sent to mine now so I could look over it too. I ALREADY DID THAT LAST WEEK. WTF? She gave me signing instructions and everything. Of course she never answers when I call so I have no idea what is going on and am at the mercy of waiting for her to call me back.
I emailed my caseworker around 4pm today and I of course didn't get a response so I tried calling at 4:45 only to get the damn after hours recording. They close at 5 and turn on the answering machine 15 minutes early?? Seriously? Completely unacceptable and I am furious. I don't have after hours contact info for my caseworker either so I'm stuck waiting yet another day.
Aaaaagggghhhhh!
