Back To the Drawing Board

Well, I got a call from my doctor last night that no one wants to get. We were supposed to transfer next week but unfortunately the donor is not responding well at all to the stims. She only had four follicles yesterday despite being on a double dose of the meds so Dr. D has advised the guys that it would be best to choose a new donor. They are heartbroken because they had formed a relationship with this donor and I am of course very disappointed and sad for them. We are looking at possibly transferring in 6-8 weeks, if they can find a donor quickly enough. It sucks and I am upset but trying to stay positive. Fingers crossed that it's a quick process for us.. I was so geared up and ready for next week and I don't think it's really sunk in yet.
